Here are a few recent testimonials that came in from Skin Culture Peel users.

Enjoy,
Linda

Here’s one from Karen Booth in Ontario, Canada:

I wanted to thank you very much for your Peel 4000 product. I have
used it twice and I am very happy with the results! I have had acne
for many years, but since turning 33 and having a few children, I
had developed more severe scarring on my face. Prior to finding
your site, I had used many products and even went to get professional
peels, but found them to be very painful and extremely ineffective.

I truly am so grateful that this is available to people like myself
that have suffered from the embarrassing scars left by acne. I have
a close friend that has severe damage from acne and has since used
your Peel 4000. She is so happy with her personal results that she
has also started telling others people about your products. Thank
you so much for making me feel more confident about myself. You
have no idea how your products have truly changed my life.

Here’s another from Eric Roberts in West Virginia:

I don’t think words can describe how much the Peel 4000 has worked
for me. I am filled with so much happiness because of your
products. I just finished the 6-day process and the acne scarring
has almost completely disappeared! WOW, this is unbelievable! I am
going to spread the word of your website because I know your
products can help others to feel the way I do. I just can’t thank
you enough. THANK YOU!

Here’s a third testimonial from Nancy M. of Fort Pierce, Florida:

Dear Skin Culture,

I’m writing to your company after using your product. I had very
damaged skin from using a product that was too strong, which left
the skin on my face looking as if I had two black eyes around the
eye and cheek bone area. After using your Peel 2000, it made them
disappear making my face area look normal again!

I no longer have to hide under make-up anymore, and I know that
with one more treatment I will be perfect! :-) I’m a very dark
skinned person, so to the African American Community this product
really works. When your skin peels and clears up, oh my God how
happy you will be!

I would like to tell everyone to please take my advice. I don’t
ever send in comments after using products, but this company
deserves a Five Star rating! For anyone that don’t believe it
works, just try it because it definitely worked for me! I don’t
lie about a company’s product this is actual true fact of using
this product.

Last, but not least, here’s Andrew Boswell from West Midlands, UK:

I felt I must write after completing your Peel 2000 treatment this
week to congratulate and thank you for your product, and the
noticeable results it has had on my skin. Ever since I was a
teenager, I have suffered from oily, spot-prone skin – including
scars of which still remain today. Even at the age of 25, my skin
would still often look tired and blotchy, and I purchased your
products hoping to alleviate this.

Although I was initially hesitant about trying your products -
uncertain they would have any effect – I write today in total
amazement with the results of one of your lightest peeling
treatments. After just 6 days, my skin is now much clearer and
oil-free, with an even texture and smoothness friends and family
have definitely noticed! I look forward to achieving even better
results in the near future with one of your stronger peels!

This is My experience with the skin culture
After weeks and many hours of researching the SC Peel I decided to be a man and go ahead with it, thers no point feelin sad and sorry for your self and do nothing about it so i jus said sod it ill do it. I bought it while I was at uni and got a 25% discount but decided not to use it till we broke up for our Christmas holidays. I got the peel 4000 with the after care kit Now Im on holidays im goin to use this peel. This is my experience with it and i will post it in as many blogs as possible regardless of the results so it can help people to decide whether this peel is for them.
By the way i am a black person, with brown skin. So i guess we will find out if skin cultures claim about the peel being for any1 is true.
    Fingers Crossed?
    15th December 2008(Day 1)
1am- Used skin culture glycolic cleanser to wash face…which smells really good
1:07am – used 2-3 drops of skin brightening gel
1:20am – Applied 1st jar of peeling cream to face using applicator. It smells quite strong…there’s definitely some serious chemicals in this stuff jeez!
3.20am – removed peeling cream using tissue
NB: About a minute after application the peel cream stung like CRAZY. But after about 20 minutes it subsided to more of a tingle sensation. NOT TOO BAD SO FAR
    16 December 2008 (day 2)
12am- applied 2nd jar. Same stinging sensation for the first 15-20mins then its gets better.
2am- removed peeling cream using tissue
NB: Skin appears darker very slightly wrinkled but really soft after removal of cream
    16th December 2008(Day 3)
NB: Skin really tight now difficult to do facial expressions. Skin also darker and a little wrinkled
5pm- applied 3rd jar. Usual stinging as before, after a while you get used to it. Hopefully skin should start peeling soon.
7 Pm- removed peeling cream using applicator and tissue
NB: skin looks red and becoming quite tight

    17th December 2008(Day 4)
2pm- applied 4th jar. Same stinging as usual.
NB: Skin really really tight, can barely move face and open mouth. Skin quite shiny in appearance
4pm- removed cream using applicator and tissue
NB: is very tight now….even experienced some swelling

    18th December 2008(Day 5)
Started applying normalizer….no peeling yet! And i am becoming unbelievable frustrated and worried…even sent a semi-angry email to skin culture
    19th December 2008(Day 6)
Morning: Woke up any I nearly had a heart attack. My face looked so weird. It was swollen probably because i didn’t elevate my head with pillows in the night(but still!), so tight, shiny, and the wrinkles….FLIPPIN HELL they were like army trenches on my face…i put on the normalizer cream ASAP

Afternoon: A little peeling at corners of nose /
Late Afternoon: Peeling spreads a little more out from corner of nose
Evening: Peeling is really beginning to happen (BTW skin culture were not lying when they said the new skin will be beautiful. I haven’t seen skin like this on my face since i was about 14 years old and im nearly 20 now! The new skin is so nice and soft..i am sooooo going to look after it) The peel is seeming to be worthwhile….if the rest of the peeling turns out like what iv seen before this will officially have been one of the best decisions i have made in my life. IT WILL be life changing. The years of insecurity gone in a jus over a week!! Fingaz crossed. ?
PS: Iv been applying normalizer quite regularly and a lot of it aswell. It seems to help with the peeling and DEFINITLY makes doing normal things like eating and talking more bearable, without the normalizer on my face its so hard to speak or make any facial expressions

    20th December 2008(Day 7)
Skin continuing to peel from bottom corners of nose outward. Most of the front of y face is done now and the skin looks soooo fresh. Only my nose, sides of face, forehead and half of my chin are left to go!
    21st December 2008(Day 8)
It officially been one week today since i started the peel. I have to say the only thing skin culture has said that hasn’t come to pass is the length of time it takes to peel completely. They say the whole process should be done in a week but for me this has not been the case. There is still quite a bit of peeling left to go and i reckon it wont be fully done for another 4 days. I think skin culture should change the amount of time they say it will take you to peel as it can be misleading, especially if someone takes only a week of work as they think this is the time they need to do the treatment but in reality it is going to take longer than 7 days. I would say a more realistic time would be 10-11 days.
My nose has just started to peel today.
I cant wait to see how the sides of my face turn out after they peel. If the skin turns out to look like the skin that has peeled on the front of my face this product in my personal opinion is officially fantastic!
    22nd December 2008(Day 9)
More peeling on cheeks and nose has stated to peel as well so the forehead should start peeling soon i hope. Everything good so far. Iv run out of normalizer i think i was a little too over zealous with it. I will phone skin culture and see what they can do.
Got some more normalizer. More peeling on nose and sides of face. The skin for me seems to peel well when normalizer is applied then left for 3-4 a few hours, wash face with water or jus wipe with tissue then reapply normalizer.
    23rd December 2008(Day 10)
A lot more peeling has happened on the cheeks should only be a few more days till they are completely done. And my nose should completely peel by the end of the day leaving just the forehead!
The main part of my skin i had problems with should begin to peel today i hope. I am really looking forward to seeing the skin underneath because if it is anything like the skin that has peeled so far, I am gonna be a very very happy boy.
I must add be weary of how u use the normalizer. Once skin has peeled you do not want to get any of the normalizer cream onto the fresh new skin as it is EXTREMELY OILY and has caused me to break out a little, nothing major, but jus don’t won’t to undo all the good work so far.
I soooooooo cannot wait to wash my face with the clenser…its been over a week now!!

    24th December 2008(Day 11)
Finally the skin has started peeling. The results are decent..not as dramatic as i was expecting…this one treatment seems more to have slightly faded the pigmentation but it is still there. The initial skin you see on peeling looks fantastitc because of the the dead skin that surrounds it so it really is comparative….but when its all peeled away still looks the same….but it is slightly more even…but i did get breakouts due to the normalizer causing a lil more pigmentations but a fading cream sorted that out. I guess more treatments are required as Skin culture say but im not sure if im willing to go through it again….nearly 2 weeks indoors is a long time and it takes a lot longer to peel than expected

  2. ishaon 04 Jan 2009 at 8:54 pm

started the treatment but i was not sure how to take it off had a little stinging for about 10min then it was fine after 90mins was confused how to take it off anyway used the spatuler to take of most of the cream then got a tissue with quite a lot of vasaline on it and wiped off the rest. my face was a little red but it was very soft and a little greasey maybe i put to much vasaline not sure

  3. Linda Florentineon 07 Jan 2009 at 5:51 pm

    Hi Isha,

The stinging is normal. It will lessen as the peel progresses.

As for removing the peel, you’re on the right track – remove most of the peel with the spatula and take off the excess using tissue and vaseline. I would suggest using a little less vaseline so your face won’t be as greasy. Experiment with the amount of vaseline you use until you find the right concentration.

    I hope this helps.

    Happy Peeling :-)
    Linda

  4. ishaon 07 Jan 2009 at 6:17 pm

i left the cream on longer then advised on day 3 i worke up day 4 and my skin began to flake a little around the chin area i still decided to put the fourth tub on to compleate the course what will happen is it still safe have i made a mistake should i have just left it to peel

  5. Linda Florentineon 07 Jan 2009 at 6:43 pm

    Hi Isha,

Just out of curiosity, how long did you leave the peel on the 3rd day? Did you pick at the flaking skin? Is the skin bleeding or broken?

If it’s lust a little flaking and the skin’s not broken, you shouldn’t have a problem. Just continue as normal and be sure to leave the peel on no more than 90 minutes.

Also, be sure to let the skin come off during the natural course of the treatment. Picking at the skin may lead to unwanted irritation and skin breakage.

    Happy Peeling :-)

  6. ishaon 07 Jan 2009 at 6:46 pm

i have now wipe off the cream and bits of the skin on my chin was cuming off i tryed to do it as soft as possible and used lots of vasaline will i now have scars there our will it peel again as i put the fourt tube on when it was flaking

  7. ishaon 07 Jan 2009 at 6:56 pm

i left the treatment on for 2 and a half hours instead of 1 and a half i got my times mixed up. my skin is not bleeding i didnt pick at it ,but when i was removing the cream bits of the skin on my chin was cuming off on the tissue and looks slightly pink the rest of my face is normal just tight

  8. ishaon 07 Jan 2009 at 6:58 pm

i hope you understand i left it on for 90min (i have only left it on for the wrong time once on day 3)

  9. Linda Florentineon 07 Jan 2009 at 7:52 pm

    Oh, okay. I see.

I’m not quite sure what to tell you as I’ve never dealt with this before. Since you’ve already used the last tub, I don’t think you have anything to worry about at this point.

But I suggest you contact Skin Culture’s customer service department. They can probably give you much more helpful information on what to do about the pink skinn on your chin.

Here’s the link to their Contact Page: http://skinculture.com/contactus.html

You can reach them by email, phone, or chat. They’re pretty responsive and extremely helpful.

    Here’s the link again: http://skinculture.com/contactus.html

I hope this helps. Let us know what you find out.

  11. Linda Florentineon 10 Feb 2009 at 12:58 am

    Hi Nina,

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. I’m pretty sure it’s frustrating. I’m not sure why you’ve had trouble getting in touch with Skin Culture’s customer service. I’ve never had that problem. The most I’ve ever had to wait has been about three of four days or so (not counting weekends) to get an email response.

Do you mind letting us know which phone number and email address you’ve been using? Perhaps myself or any of the frequent visitors here can be of some help. I know how frustrating it can be to have questions and not get them answered, so I’m just offering a helping hand.

Here’s SkinCultureUSA.com’s customer service info, just in case it helps:

Dial 1-877-887-1115 if you are SkinCultureUSA.com customer in the United States. Lines are open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EDT Monday thru Friday.

Dial 1-814-347-0245 if you are an International Customer of SkinCultureUSA.com. Lines are open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EDT Monday thru Friday.

Send questions and comments by email to info@skincultureusa.com. Feedback is usually received within 24-72 hours.

Again, I hope this helps, Nina.

    Cheers :-)

I have had an absolutely horrible time with this company called skincultureUSA.com. I ordered my product back on January 19 and paid an extra charge to receive it in 6-10 days and it is now February 20th (over a month later) and I have not received my product yet. I have emailed, and called several times only to get the run around about where my product is. It apparently got lost in the mail and was rerouted back to skinculture.

I requested to cancel my order since I have been waiting over a month for my order.

It has been over a week since I cancelled my order, and they still have not credited my credit card. They claim not to have the product yet, but I tracked it online only to find out that it had been delivered to them and a note was left on the door.

The customer service agent keeps procrastinating and telling me that he can’t refund my card yet until the parcel goes thru the refund process….. WHAT? They have my cream and my money!! They are stealing from me.

They have taken money from me and not delivered a product! We all know that this cream is not cheap either. This company is not on the up and up!

I will never deal with this company ever again….this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

  13. Evaon 02 Mar 2009 at 4:31 pm

    Hi,,

My name is Eva, and Have use skin culture peel 2 times or I would say 5. It is because I used the peel one time all over my face,,but then I decided to use it only in the places of my face that I really needed to get rid off..I would recommend thid peel to anyone since it has worked marabellous for me….I have to tell you tha I have not gotten rid of them completely but it really has worked for me,,,,i have done 2 peels in the same place, and the the scars look far less noticeable,,,i am thinking that with 2 or 3 more peels i will have the same kind of skin i used to have 8 year ago,,,,The thing is not to looseyour hope,,,but you have to be really pacient because it takes time to get were you want to be…by the way some of my scars were really deep and some others were really wide, they have not fade completely but i love the changes i am seen,,

I woul not recommend you to use it all over your face,,it was a nightmare for me,,,because you would not like to go out like that because you feel like a monster,,,well no really but you woul not feel good to go out…it is better if you use only were you think you needed it for many reasons,,,1st you spend less money..2nd you can continue with your life,,like nothing is going on,,,obiously the peeling place will look reder, or darker, and peeling after the 7th day,,but it will not be that bad…it won’t hold you bad,,,well just think that the sacrifice is worthed,, after 3 days your skin color of you new skin will blend with your old skin, spect to see a lighter color in the first two days

last recommendation,,,,subscribe to their page,,,so that they send you emails,,,during the holidays they usually put it some percentage off ,and they give you one peel free,,,if you buy peel 2000 or higher,,,,it is a great deal… any questions ask me,,, you can save alot of money if you wait,,,,

I was on Retin A .025 about 2 weeks ago . How long should I hold off the peel?

  16. Linda Florentineon 06 Apr 2009 at 11:10 am

    Hi Jonathan,

    Hmmm…..

Now that’s one question I don’t have the answer to. I suggest you contact the folks at Skin Culture on that one.

Sorry I couldn’t help. Let us know what you find out, though.

    Cheers :-)

hello i want to know tht video is suggesting tht this peel doesnt work for freckles so i want to know the reason for tht as it works well for pigmentation n also tell me abt the expiry date of it bcoz i am going to use it now n after that i will use 5 or 6 mnths later when i will again hav vacations,so interested to know about expiry

  18. Linda Florentineon 26 Apr 2009 at 1:32 pm

    Hi Tahir,

Let me clear things up a bit about the Skin Culture peel and freckles. The treatment will not remove freckles that you were born with. However, it will help in the removal of freckles caused by sun damage.

As for the expiry, there is no expiration date for the peels so it’s perfectly okay to use the peel 5 or 6 months after you buy it.

I hope this helps, Tahir. Please let me know if you need anything further.

    Cheers ;)

  19. Chelseaon 29 Apr 2009 at 3:16 pm

Hi! Okay so I ordered the skin culture peel over a month ago and my product has still not been shipped even though my card was charged for $156.69 at that time. Just after I ordered it I received an email saying that it was out of stock and that they would send it as soon as possible, but it shouldn’t take this long should it?? I have emailed them about 4 times and received no response and have called on many occasions to no one picking up. Is there anything someone can do to help me out?? I am moving out of my current residence in a just over a week and at this point I would really love a refund, or if you could send my product to me before then that. I think I have waited long enough.

  20. Linda Florentineon 29 Apr 2009 at 5:19 pm

    Hi Chelsea,

I’m so sorry to hear about your situation. Four weeks is an awful long time to wait and I don’t blame you for wanting a refund at this point. I don’t don’t know how well the folks at SkinCultureUSA.com have gotten caught up on the back order issues, but your package may very well be on its way.

However, without being able to contact them, that remains uncertain. I’ve been trying my best to get a little more info from the folks at SkinCultureUSA.com, but I don’t know any more than you guys at this point. The current delays really bother me because the product is excellent and the people who come to this site are so great.

Chelsea, I suggest you keep calling one of these numbers: 1-877-887-1115 (USA Only) or 1-814-347-0245 (International). I know it’s a pain, but some other readers have been able to get through lately. They should be able to process the refund you want or give you an update its status.

In the meantime, I’ll see what I can do to go to bat for you. I don’t work for SkinCultureUSA.com, but I can be a little bulldog when I need to. They’ve always been good at explaining to me what’s going on at times like this.

Will you let me know how everything works out for you, Chelsea?

    Cheers :-)

  21. Mayaon 15 May 2009 at 8:47 am

    Hi Linda,

    I have a question
    1. This is my first time using skin culture. I’ve done a tca peel before and it did peel my skin but not my pigmentation and solve my open pores and my age spots. so now i’ve just order skin culture and done some patch test. Nothing happened after i apply from the 1st day till 3rd day. but on the 4rd day the skin began to fill itchy and a bit dark. only a small area started to flake. today is the 5th day and the skin still itchy and not peeling.
    - the system says do not apply any cream, lotions and soaps to the treatment area until the skin completely peel. What about if we are taking a shower and wash our hair? Does this effect and will it makes our skin have some reaction to it?
    - after the skin is completely peel, then what should we do after that? can we wash our face with facial cleanser and apply lotion ( i’ve bought also a facial cleanser and lotion from skin culture,to prepare for after peel process).
    - when do we apply sun block? is it after the skin completely peel , like for example if my skin do completely peel 10 days after that.?

  22. Linda Florentineon 19 May 2009 at 4:18 am

    Hi Maya,

Thanks for posting your questions. I’ll try my best to answer each one correctly.

Let me ask you first, has your skin started to peel yet? I know it’s been a few days since you initially posted your comment, so I though I’d ask.

As far as washing you hair is concerned, you should be okay as long as your shampoo doesn’t come in contact with your face. I generally advise people to hold off washing their hair or use a very gentle shampoo when using the peel, but this may not be the best advice for some. Let me get back to you on that one.

As far as washing your face after the peel is concerned, I suggest you use the aftercare products you got from Skin Culture. The cleanser is sensitive enough to help you avoid skin irritation after the peel. So, I’d say you did the right thing when you purchased the cleanser.

As for the sunblock, you must use a sunblock with a minimum SPF15 for the first thirty days following your peeling treatment (that is after your skin has completed the peeling process). This will help to protect the new skin and prevent any uneven tanning of the skin.

    I hope this helps, Maya.

    Happy Peeling :-)
    Linda

It happened the same to me, after a while of waiting to receive the products I bought from Skin Culture USA, I found out that several people just like me have been complaining and waiting to receive the goods they paid for or a refund of their money. This company Universal Marketing Media was the responsible of this mess.

The team of Skin Culture International have contacted me and they kindly have offered to help me with this, they will send me the goods with a 50% discount!!. In the meantime, I suggest you all that have bought from Universal Marketing Media (Skin Culture USA) and are still waiting for your order, to contact directly skinculture.com, to help you to solve this issue. I suggest you take the following steps:

    1. Request a charge back with your credit card company, assuming you paid by credit card.

    2. Send an email to backorders@skinculture.com and include your order confirmation and order number from your original purchase. In return you will be supplied with a promotional code that allows you to receive a 50% discount and free shipping when you re-order the same product online at http://www.skinculture.com. It might take some time for them to answer, due to the amount of emails and calls from UMM customers hoping to take advantage of this offer, but it worths the wait, just like I did!!

If you have any questions you can contact Mr. Andrew Harewood at Skin Culture International, he will explain you in detail if there is anything else you can do. Hope this information helps you all that have been victims of the bad practices of Universal Marketing Media.

    hi Linda,

i started my peel on thursday the 9th and its the 18th and i am still peeling, is this unusual. what has peeled looks fine but i am getting bored of staying in. i am also nearly out of the normalizer cream what can i do.

there is also a bit of itching where it is peeling.
    what can i do?

  25. Linda Florentineon 18 Jul 2009 at 12:57 pm

    Hi Anita,

I assume Thursday the 9th was Day One of your treatment. If this is the case, then it is not entirely unusual that you’re still peeling on the 18th (which is Day 10). A number of people I’ve met on this site have reported that their faces didn’t completely peel until Day 10 or beyond. My advice is to continue repeating Day 6 with the Normalizer Cream as you have been. However, since you are nearly out of the Normalizer, I suggest picking up some Ponds Cold Cream as it is a suitable alternative.

As for the itching, in rare cases this does occur with some users. Let me ask you a few questions, though:

How long has the itching been going on?

At what point did the itching begin? After applying the peel? After applying the Normalizer? Or some other point?

Is there any swelling or redness accompanying the itching?

If there is selling or redness with the itching, then consult your doctor or dermatologist. They can prescribe something to relieve the itching and bring the swelling down. It is very rare for the symptoms of such a reaction to last more than a week.

If there is no swelling or redness accompanying the itching and the itching hasn’t been going on for a few days, then you’re probably just having a slight reaction to one of the ingredients in the peel. At this point I’d say it’s nothing to worry about since you’re nearly done with the treatment. If the itching is only occurring at the areas where the skin is peeling, then the skin may just be very dry or irritated. If you’ve ordered the aftercare products, then they’ll take care of the dryness and even irritation if it’s not related to an allergy. Either way, I still recommended consulting your doctor or dermatologist just ot be on the safe side.

    I hope this helps, Anita.

    Happy Peeling :-)

    hi Linda,

thanks for the advice and i will send the man out for ponds cold cream.

As far as the itching goes it started last night and has stopped since i applied the normalizer cream and there was never any redness the skin was just dry but i will see a dermatologist after the peel is complete.

I must say i will use the peel again even though me skin looks and feels better than it has in years, i still want more results.

thanks again for the quick reply

    Hi Anita,

I’m glad to hear about your great results with the peel. Thanks for sharing!

If you haven’t decided on them already, I highly recommend the aftercare products for your next treatment. They really help you nourish your new skin after the peel. Most folks who see significant results choose the aftercare kit that matches their skin type.

I’m also glad to hear the itching was just a minor case. Like you said, it may have just been dryness and not an allergic reaction. You probably won’t need to see a dermatologist for that, but it wouldn’t hurt to go anyway.

Keep us posted on your results. Will you, Anita?

    Happy Peeling ;-)

    hello Linda,

The itching has stopped and the peeling is almost over.

The aftercare kit came with the peel and i am wondering when to start using it as there is just a little section on my neck to peel.

I cant wait to cleanse my face as having a bath without being able to wash my face is killing me.
I have a question: what is the difference between the skin culture peel and a glycolic peel?
    and
Are there any salon treatments that are similar to the skin culture peel because a friend would like to try the peel but she cannot stay at home for a day.

    please let me know

    Hi Anita,

I’m glad to hear the itching has stopped and your face is almost done peeling.

Generally, I advise people to hold of in using the aftercare kit until their face has completely peeled. However, if you just have a small section on your neck that still needs to peel, then I suppose you could proceed with the aftercare regimen as long as you could manage to avoid that area. Plus, I’m sure you’ll be elated to get on with washing your face now. :-)

As for your first question, the major difference between glycolic peels and the Skin Culture peel lies in their ingredients. Glycolic peels fall under the category of AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) peels and are generally used for light chemical peel treatments.

The Skin Culture Peel has phenol as its primary ingredient. Phenol peels are used by dermatologists to perform deep chemical peeling treatments, which makes them very strong. The dermatolocical treatments are quite risky as they contain high amounts of phenol. However, the Skin Culture peel is only 2% phenol by volume which is why it is completely safe for home use.

As for salon treatments that are similar to the Skin Culture peel, I generally recommend the Ole Henriksen Micro/Mini Peel to people looking for a suitable alternative. It’s not as intense as the Skin Culture treatment, but it does have a good reputation and produces some pretty good results. The creator, Ole Henriksen, actually uses this same formula in his own spa in West Hollywood, California here in the US. A number of his clients love it, so he decided to make it available to the general public as a home treatment. You can watch a little video I posted about it here —> Ole Henriksen Micro/Mini Peel System.

I believe I’ve covered everything. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

    Cheers :-)

    Linda

    P.S. Enjoy your new skin!

Hi, when I went on holiday to LA (29th of August 2009) i got a laser treatment done…levulan and then photofacial. It peeled of my skin quite a lot and it had cleared up my acne. However, i have now found that i got a few spots and they have left marks on my cheeks. I have also been using Retin a for a couple of weeks.

I ordered the Skin culture peel 2000 today as i was hesitant to get the 3000 because of the fact that i had just gotten the laser treatment done and so my skin has already peeled alot. I only really need to apply it to my cheeks, nose and small section of the jaw line…and so i probably wont need to use the whole of the jar. (?)

I guess my question is…is it ok to put the peel on perhaps 3/4 days consequtively even though its only the peel 2000 because its more than likely that i will have product left over?

    Thanks

    Hi K,

Congratulations on getting your acne cleared up!

You made a good choice in the peel 2000 kit for getting rid of those last few spots. However, it is recommended that you wait at least 30 days after your laser treatment before using the peel 2000. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.

When you do begin the peel, though, I suggest you go with the full 6-day process. Keep in mind, too, that with the peel 2000 kit you will only be applying the peel formula for 2 days. The other 4 days will be spent applying a moisturizer, which helps to soften the dead skin so it can peel away from the new skin underneath.

    I hope this helps, K.

    Happy Peeling ;-)

I i have dark pigmentation on my cheeks since 2004 and i like to try this peel. i would like to know for how long should i use the product, and if the peel works well on my pigment is it possible that it will come back or do i have to continue using it.

  33. Linda Florentineon 28 Oct 2009 at 11:57 am

    Hi Pinky,

Thanks for your question. I’ll answer as best as I can.

The Skin Culture peel is supposed to be good for hyperpigmentation, so I don’t think your marks would come back. However, depending on the severity of their condition, some people need to go through more than one 6-day treatment before they ultimately see the results they desire. Depending on your case of hyerpigmentation, you may be able to completely get rid of it with one 6-day treatment or you may need to do 2 or more treatments (one every 30 days) before you completely clear your hyperpigmentation. It all depends on your current condition an dhow your face responds to the peel.

    I hope this helps, Pinky.

    Cheers :-)

Don’t give these people your money, I paid for 2 x peel 4000 eight months ago, I still haven’t received any product. I asked for my money back and despite multiple promises to return my money, I am still waiting.
